Beehive Salon West Seattle is an Aveda Lifestyle salon and spa located in the heart of the West Seattle Junction. We’re known for our welcoming atmosphere, genuine connections, and a thoughtful approach to beauty and wellness. Our team is dedicated to creating personalized experiences that nurture both style and well-being, using Aveda’s plant-powered products and sustainable practices. From the moment you walk through our doors, we strive to make you feel relaxed, cared for, and confidently yourself.

Did you know the beauty industry creates 877 pounds of beauty waste per minute? Well, by being a Green Circle Salon we hope to give beauty waste a new life! Green Circle Salon empowers salons to offset their emissions and recover up to 95% of their beauty waste. That includes previously unrecoverable materials and hard-to-recycle items like hair clippings, foils, excess hair color, aerosol cans, and color tubes.

We thank Green Circle and also you, our clients, who help fund this amazing program through the Eco Fee applied to each service ticket.

Meet Our Team

Lisa

Lisa is a native Seattle hairstylist who has been doing hair with Aveda for over 18 glorious years. She’s been at Beehive Salon for 15 of those years. Lisa enjoys working with all hair types, from fine and blonde to dark and curly. Her artistry for designing haircuts with clients’ natural hair texture in mind creates pretty, low maintenance styles. She also loves hair colors that frame the face and grow out beautifully. You’ll be put right at ease by Lisa’s warm, fun-loving personality

Shelley

With an eye for fine detail and love of color, Shelley has fined tuned her practice by collaborating with her clientele to make beautiful hair customized specifically to their style and needs. Being a very versatile stylist, Shelley loves soft pixie cuts, blunt edge short cuts, precision bobs to long romantic Shags, think Jean Seberg to Bridget Bardot. A Gary Manuel Aveda Institute graduate, she hails from good ol’ Burien, Washington. Her journey came by way of an art degree, becoming a metalsmith/jeweler, to becoming your hair smith. Shelley loves both curly and straight hair, and everything in between! With an exceptional eye for color, Shelley loves subtle changes from a sun kissed look, bold fashion editorial color, to magical unicorn hair. When Shelley is not doing hair, you will find her with family in her garden, tending to her aquariums, many pets and plants. Shelley gets her inspiration from French New Wave cinema, Lizzo, Wes Anderson, Karen O, David Bowie & Audrey Hepburn.

Kassy

Creating artfully designed, healthy hair with a focus on color correction and specialty color services. Kassy is dedicated to listening to your hair goals and guiding you with a clear, thoughtful plan to achieve them. Every service is personalized to you—whether you’d love to chat or prefer quiet time to relax, she’s happy to meet you where you are. Each appointment includes a memorable, firm scalp massage designed to help you truly unwind.

Holly

I am Holly, a dedicated professional stylist with over 15 years of experience in the salon industry, specializing in color and cutting techniques. My passion lies in providing personalized service that caters to each client’s unique needs and creating transformative looks that make them feel valued, beautiful and confident after every visit. I look forward to making your salon experience exceptional!

Melina

Melina was born and raised in Seattle and has been a part of Beehive since January 2020. Beginning her career as our receptionist, she is now two years out of beauty school and is our newer hairstylists! Optimistic to learning all she can, Melina is dedicated in improving and refining her skills through continued education and assisting our senior stylists. She strives to make all your hair goals come true. In her free time, Melina enjoys cooking, going to new restaurants, karaoke, and spending time with her fur babies — Miko and Killkua

Marissa

Marissa began her career in Chicago’s prestigious downtown Gold Coast with Charles IFergan. Later, moving to Seattle, where she continued honing her skills at Paule Attar Salon in Bellevue, with two incredible Parisian stylists who further shaped her approach to hair. “I am deeply committed to continuous learning and perfecting my skills to deliver the most desired, but realist results. I take pride in creating a completely unique look for each of my clients, with my dedication to excellence!”

Michele

Michele has been in the industry for over 20 years and she’s been with Beehive for the majority of her career. As a true jill of all trades she genuinely loves every aspect of skincare and beauty. Some of her favorite services are brow tints and brow waxes – it’s amazing how they can transform someone’s look!
